SOLD Bent Tubular Steel Chiase Lounge Rocker Chair Like MARCEL BRAUER Kem Webber

NOW SOLD Lounge Rocker Recliner chair. Although there are no labels on the piece and I have not been able to determine who the designer was, the low lines and use of bent tubular chromed steel brings to mind the works of such luminaries as Marcel Brauer , Mart Stam , Mies van der Rohe and Kem Webber. I am unsure of the date of manufacture but my best guess would be the 1950-60’s. It is a versatile chair that has adjustable back and arm rests (three settings), as well as a foot rest section at the end that folds down when not needed. Its chromed tubular steel frame allows this to also act as a rocker as well. The vinyl covered cushion is removable for easy cleaning. It is very comfortable. The cover does have a few scuffs, but over all is in nice condition. The frame is structurally sound with only minimal wear to the chrome. The chair measures 27 inches wide, 37 inches tall at the back. It is 45 inches long with the foot rest folded down, and when the foot rest is extended it measure 56 inches long. $SOLD
