NOW SOLD Matching suite of three vintage modernist chrome lamps. The floor lamp measures 60 inches tall, the Chandelier measures 35 inches long and the Table lamp measures 34 inches tall. In minty condition. Chrome is as perfect as a vintage pieces come. Rare to find all three still together. If lighting is the jewelry for any home then this set screams Cartier.

THESE ARE NOW SOLD Italian Made Chairs in the style of Marcel Breuer Cesca Chairs

THESE ARE NOW SOLD 2 Arm and 2 side chairs made in the style of Marcel Breuer's Cesca chairs. The arm chairs do have some scratches on the arms, but other than that this is a nice set. The Chrome is in excellent shape as are the woven cane seats, which have no breaks or stains. Each chair does have a Made In Italy tag on them, but i do not think that these are knoll / vitra originals. Still very good quality reporduction and at a fraction of the cost of the originals.

THIS PIECE IS NOW SOLDVn early 1950's Jielde Industrial Lamp. Fantastic original patina and surface (much more interesting than those new re-issues that are out there now). This one was more than likely hard wired into a factory desktop or wall mount. Still has the original European bulb socket. Many collectors of early lamps prefer them in original condition so i have not had this rewired for North America. Most lighting stores should be able to get this re-wired for you with a plug, chord, switch and North American bulb socket. THIS IS NOW SOLD Originally designed by George Carwardine in 1932 and manufactured by Herbert Terry and Sons, this Model 1227 Anglepoise was probably manufactured some time around the end of the 1950's (indicated by the "rolled edge" of the shade which was eliminated in later models). This one features the original cloth wiring, springs and paint. Someone in the past has converted the plug and bulb socket from the original European versions to North American versions. This is a classic! Speaking of classics i was watching Michelangelo Antonioni 's 1966 classic movie Blow Up last night, and i noticed the Anglepoise used in several places in the film. Just sayin..

THIS PIECE IS NOW SOLD Unique walnut coffee table. Measures 70 inches long (5foot10), 22 inches wide and 14 inches high. Classic 1950's long and low styling. The curvaceous legs bring to mind the works of Adrian Pearsall especially the sofa he did for Craft see:http://www.1stdibs.com/furniture_item_detail.php?id=477386 . I have often though this piece might in fact be by Pearsall, but unfortunately there are no makers marks on it.
